The little rock nine desegregation crisis impacted America in numerous ways with the involvement of court cases and civil rights activist. The Plessey vs Ferguson court case helped precedent that racial segregation in transportation, public accommodations, and education was legal as long as facilities were available. (school desegregation 1) . The civil rights Act (1875) failed to address the issues that were brought upon desegregation and it was declared unconstitutional. These factors contribute to little rock nine because the nine students proved both of these things to be unconstitutional. The students fought against the articles in a fight to desegregate schools and earn equal rights. Black communities were basically forced to endure the lower standars of living especially when it came to schools and public places. This impacted the American people by making them see that this was a wide spread issue and they needed to make a change.
Little Rock Nine has impacted america because it helped the people realize that some of the laws created were not equal. The NAACP helped overcome the issues of segregation and equality. Little Rock nine later lead to more things to help the back community earn there rights as an African American Citizen. " Nine yyears following the implemation of school desegregation 9.2% of the black children in public schools in the South attened classes with whites on a desegregated basis."
